Meet Marilyn Prewitt
Marilyn Prewitt is a life coach with over 10 years of experience serving the communities of Albuquerque, Los Lunas and Santa Fe, New Mexico. Motivated by the challenge of overcoming difficulties in her own life and the desire to help others, Marilyn has developed a method of coaching that is authentic and truly transformational. This sometimes-painful growth has shown her how to live a life of peace and happiness even when life is not kind. By seeking the path of peace, which never seems to be easy, she learned many principles that apply to everyone who wishes to grow into something better than they presently are.
Marilyn’s focus is learning how to follow the peace that leads you to become more than you can possibly be on your own. This includes learning how to set a positive purpose that is in your area of interest. Then it is about learning how to stay in the flow where good things happen. The difference is like watching a sports team that is out of sync and not going anywhere or watching a sports team that are all in sync and are playing together even if individually the players might not be as skilled as the other team.
Life Coaching
Every sports team has a coach. The better the team, the better the coach needs to be. It is about more than just winning. It is about learning the skills that allow excellence to happen. The coach is there to teach the skills that empower the players to improve and guide them onto a path of teamwork that allows the possibility of winning.
Life coaching is much like that. If you do not have many emotional tools for success, there is little chance that you will succeed in life. The greater the skill, the better the chance for success. Not only is success important but defining the success that will bring you the greatest amount of happiness and joy in your life. Success in one area while ignoring the more important matters is not true success.
Life coaching is first about defining the purpose that will become a driving force in every decision that you make. Next it is about learning the tools that allow you to get there. Just like the baseball skills that you learn in little league are good there, as you grow to a higher level, you need to become better at the skills that will empower you to thrive at a professional and personal level much higher than you could ever achieve on your own.
